“WHERE” explores the diverse environments of eight women artists, that weave together rural and urban perspectives through their monthly online exchanges. Originally scheduled to debut in September 2020, the exhibition was postponed due to the pandemic. We are now delighted to finally present this extraordinary collection at Uni.Versus Art Room.

This unique showcase brings together contemporary jewelry makers from Canada, Scotland, and Spain who have formed a group under the name “The Hinterland Collective”. Inspired by the French term ‘arrière-pays,’ the name symbolizes the remote and often solitary paths these artists tread. Despite the geographical distances between them, they are united by their shared passion for contemporary jewelry, creating a powerful collective voice.
