“Sacred Spaces” delves into the themes of isolation and introspection, exploring the contradiction between co-arising emotions in times of crisis and self-reflection, such as serenity and confinement, direction and entanglement, fragility, and strength.

The works, featuring tranquil arches and repetitive custodial rails, draw inspiration from various religious cultures, while referencing the philosophical ideas of Aristotle and relevant interpretations of scholars like Jeremy Bentham and Michel Foucault.

Creating a thought-provoking visual experience for the viewers, the artist questions the archetypal roles we play in society, as well as the roles we play in any place we inhabit; inner or outer.
